Now this - this is one of those pieces that sets the bar so impossibly high for we other artists. Masterful! So much to see - yet it's not bogged down in such intricate realism detail that the warmth of character is lost. It's cartoony in it's expression, yet you've not skimped on any of the color or surrounding scenery. It's natural, pleasing to the eye, and comfortably fun. Bravo. Bravo many times over.
that is such an awesome composition! the lighting, his pose and expression compliment the relaxed theme. I love the way the water was rendered...water is a hard thing to render correctly
A very relaxed, fun piece. I like the way the leopard's spots repeat a bit on the fish. I also enjoy the almost watercolor feel that you managed with the acrylics and ink.
Scotty, if anything it should make you feel like we should work harder to accomplish something of this magnitude.
Try to think logically for once and not let your emotions cloud your sense of duty as an artist. :)Hee. Sorry, but my Vulcan influence has compelled me to tell you that. (Oh, you also put the wrong to/too/two.)
I love this picture, but the artist comment has thrown me off a bit.

Wonderful watercolor work! I adore his expression. I'm diggin' the water effect, too.
